The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences does a little award show every year where they honor their selections as best pictures and performances by dishing out Academy Awards which are known as Oscars. We here at Movies for Guys felt that some recognition should be given to films that are not necessarily cinematic master pieces but are immensely entertaining to couch potatoes like us. Although we can appreciate the artsy side of film making, we can also appreciate the effort that goes into blowing stuff up.

So the staff here at Movies for Guys are proud to present the First Annual Cro-Magnons. The categories, nominees and winners were all selected by the staff of Movies for Guys using very scientific methodology including but not limited to coin tosses, slap fights and belly bucking contests. No envelopes here, most of these were scratched out on a bar napkin.
