The Frozen Tundra of the South
A large portion of the U.S. is covered in snow and/or ice. It's a perfect weekend to just stay inside and watch some DVDs. Our recommendation is The Day After Tomorrow.
Although we're based in the usually warm southern United States, we're expecting ice and freezing rain here as well overnight. If you've ever been in the south when there's frozen precipitation even forecasted, you'll know that it is more entertaining than any movie. Winter weather is a fact of life for northerners, they get a lot of it and know how to deal with it. Us southern types just freak out.
First order of business, as soon as the weatherman even predicts a chance of snow or ice, is to go to your nearest grocery store and buy milk and bread. I'm not sure why, but many of these people pack in supplies like they were moving into the Overlook Hotel for the winter. Nevermind that it is predicted to be back into the 50's by Sunday. Dont confuse a startled herd with facts like the concept that water wont stay frozen temperatures above 32 degrees no matter how hard you try.
And if you want some real entertainmen, just dare going to the liquor story on a friday night with winter weather predicted for the weekend. You'll think you're trapped inside a sitcom or reality show.
