Six Million Dollar Man
I just came across a tidbit of movie news that I hope is dated and has since changed. Looks like The Six Million Dollar Man is destined for the big screen. This is a natural.
However, Todd Phillips is attached to direct. The same guy who brought us Old School and Starsky & Hutch. This pretty much guarantees it'll be campy instead of taking a shot at doing some real cyborg based SciFi. Where did it become a rule that if you bring old TV shows to the big screen you have to make them a campy spoof of the original?
Oh, and guess who is attached to star as Steve Austin as of last report? Jim Carrey! Pardon me while I go hurl.
