Berman Out for Next Trek Film
Paramount caught a clue and figured out that Rick Berman was the reason the Star Trek franchise has been having problems. Not only that, they're bringing in some serious talent to see about righting this ship.
J.J. Abrams and his co-producers from the hit series "Lost" will be taking the helm of the Enterprise for it's 11th outing, currently scheduled for a 2008 release. The story will center around Kirk and Spock, how they met at Starfleet Academy and their first adventure in space together.
Since J.J. Abrams is also the mastermind behind "Alias", maybe he can talk Jennifer Garner into covering herself in blue paint to become an alien.. that would rule.
