He May Be Nuts, But Cruise is Still the Man

We all like to make fun of Tom "I'm not Gay" Cruise, and face it, he makes himself a really easy target. But when it comes to movie making he's still the man.

Take the stunts in Mission Impossible III for example, did you know that he did many of his own stunts? He jumps off buildings, let's 18-wheelers slide over him and more. In one scene he rolls off a 60-ft wall on a tether and ends up inches off the ground. That's not a stunt man, that's really Tom taking the plunge.

That scene in the previews where he's thrown up against the car? He did that several times to get the take right, and he hit the door hard enough to dent it.

Or, maybe none of this is true and it's all part of the marketing of Tom. I look forward to the behind the scenes on the DVD to see if we can have some visual proof of what he did on the set. Until then, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
