DVD Quick Take The first and best of the Naked Gun series from David Zucker. First off, if you're not a fan of this type of humor, then don't even bother trying to watch this film as you'll just end up bitching that it's not that funny which will just show your lack of taste for the finer things in life. Based on the wildly popular and long running Police Squad series starring Leslie Nielsen, The Naked Gun takes the off-beat humor introduced in the TV series to the next level. The jokes are given in rapid fire fashion and include many site gags that require you to pay close attention in order to get the most laughter for your buck. The good side of this is that you can watch the movie many times (and I have) and still find new things to laugh at. Make sure you take the time to listen to the commentary track on the DVD as well. You'll learn a lot about the movie and will most certainly have a few gags pointed out to you that you didn't see in the movie regardless of how many times you've seen it. - John Add this DVD to your collection
