DVD Features

Video: Widescreen enhanced, but the picture seems a tad soft. It's not bad considering the age of the movie, but it's nothing to get excited about.

Audio: Everything out of the center channel.

Extras: Some production notes and a trailer. Big deal.

DVD Quick Take

Many people have told me what a great movie this is, but I just can't agree. For a comedy made in 1977 I suppose it isn't bad, but the pacing is so slow it almost kept me from finishing the movie.

However, the hockey scenes with the Hanson brothers are great! These guys really know how to make a hockey game interesting, lots of dirty tricks, and lots of blood.

If you are a huge hockey fan go ahead and get this movie. Otherwise you might just want to rent it and skip straight to the fight scenes.
