If you’re looking for a good movie to watch with a date, look no farther as Edward Scissorhands will fit the bill perfectly. However, if your hanging out with the guys and pull this movie out, people are gonna question your manhood… consider yourself warned.

With that said, I did actually enjoy this movie, though I wonder if my impression of the movie is skewed upwards by how much I enjoy the soundtrack. The film just screams “Burton!” as all Tim Burton movies tend to do. The visuals are fantastic, the mood is just right, and its quirky as you would expect in some parts.

I’ll add a third condition to this movie… if you are sitting at home alone and would like to watch something in the vein of The Nightmare Before Christmas, pop this one in the player, you won’t be disappointed.
