How Real Men Rent DVD’s
We’re often asked what is the best way to check out a lot of DVD’s without spending a fortune. Unless you’ve recently won the lottery, buying every new DVD that comes out isn’t a good idea. And no real man looks forward to rubbing elbows with the soccer moms and their screaming curtain climbers at the local video store. Let us introduce you to Netflix.
Here’s how it works:
- Join Netflix and create a list of all of the movies you want to see. Your first 3 movies are shipped to you. Watch them at your leisure, there are NO LATE FEE’s. When done mail it back in the nifty postage paid envelope included with the DVD. You pay nothing for shipping, even on returns.
- Everytime they receive a DVD back from you, they send the next one in your queue.
That’s it! It is that simple. It’s all done online, you never have to leave the house.
Your queue is the heart of the deal, this is your list of movies you want to see. If you think of a movie you want to see, you can add it to your list anytime just by going online. If you want to see it ASAP, you can bump it to the top of your queue. In fact, you can change the order you would like to see any of your movies anytime. You can even add movies that haven’t been released yet to your queue. As those movies are released, they’ll be shipped to you as well. You do not have to remember to go back and add them after the movie is released.
You can have up to 3 movies out at any given time. And there’s no time limit. If you want to watch a movie 3 or 4 times or if you can never get the whole family together to watch it, yet everyone wants to see it, no problem. Keep the disc as long as you like, when everyone is done, send it back. Again, there’s NEVER a late fee. Of course the catch is the quicker you return a title, the quicker you get the next movie in your queue.
Although the movies are shipped back and forth via the postal service, they arrive very quickly. If you watch and return movies promptly, you can literally use this service to have a new DVD title show up in your mailbox every couple of days. And remember, each DVD comes with a nifty return envelope, you do not have to pay postage when you return it. It is quite painless to pack and mail the DVD back.
