Metallica S&M

Finally, S&M is available on DVD! This is Metallica live in concert with the San Francisco Symphony. If you listen to rock stations on the radio at all, you already know by now that the combination of the world’s best heavy metal act combined with a symphony orchestra works well. Now you can see the entire concert on DVD and enjoy it blasting through you home theater.
This DVD just absolutely rocks. It cranks really well in either Dolby Digital 2.0 stereo or Dolby Digital 5.1. And this one needs to be played loud.
You do get some really cool features using multiple audio tracks and angles as well. First off, you can use the multiple angles to watch any individual band member. It’s fun to watch Lars in particular on drums. You’ll get a newfound respect for the energy it must take to hit drums that hard that fast for over 2 hours. The audio is even more fun. You can listen to just Metallica or just the Symphony, which is kinda neat.
If you’re even remotely a fan of Metallica, this is a DVD that is an absolute must own. It’s a two DVD set and a little pricey as concert DVDs go, but use the link below and you can get a good deal on it at Amazon.
Seen it? How many stars do you give it?
