DVD Quick Take

There are few things we enjoy more than when James Cameron, Arnold Schwazenegger and a budget larger than the GNP of many small countries get together. The result is always a big movie with big action, big explosions and in this case big tah tahs courtesy of Jamie Lee Curtis too!

Arnold plays Harry Tasker, or is it Harry Rehnquist? You see, Arnold is a secret agent, something like a cross between Ethan Hunt, James Bond and Rambo. But his wife knows nothing about it, she thinks he’s a sales geek at a computer company. This makes for some funny moments as well as hellacious action and one of the few Arnold action movies that the ladies will also like alot.

The DVD version of the movie does not disappoint. It’s THX certified and very worthy of it. Both the video and the audio are excellent. The only flaw is that it is not widescreen enhanced. Also as is the case with many movies that are more than a couple of years old, dont expect any extras. Amazon has this DVD for only $11.99, so there’s no reason this one shouldn’t be in everyone’s collection.
